In the 4th minute of the match, Daniel Forssberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paul Scholes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. AZAT MARD FC's Paul Scholes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save AZAT MARD FC from getting a goal against them. Paul Scholes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erling Flinck's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Daniel Forssberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Scholes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Paul Scholes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erling Flinck in the 13th minute. When Kurt Molin fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AZAT MARD FC's protests and gave Kurt Molin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when AZAT MARD FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Molin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anders Holm took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Scholes. Paul Scholes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in AZAT MARD FC's zone, Frank Nyqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Scholes came out of the goal and Frank Nyqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Frank Nyqvist sped through AZAT MARD FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paul Scholes. A collision led to AZAT MARD FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Johannes Ahlquist hit a great ball. In the 30th match minute, Rönnöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Holm to maneuver through the defense. Paul Scholes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Forssberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Forssberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Paul Scholes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Daniel Forssberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Scholes. AZAT MARD FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Forssberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Erling Flincks short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Paul Scholes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Holger Boberg made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Erling Flinck made a precise shot to the right of Paul Scholes. AZAT MARD FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Daniel Forssberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Scholes having to interfere. Kurt Molin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johan Hultin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, AZAT MARD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Flinck came free, but Paul Scholes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Erling Flinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Scholes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Rönnöfors FF fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Rönnöfors FF's Erling Flinck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 71 minutes into the game, Daniel Forssberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Paul Scholes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erling Flinck struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Paul Scholes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rönnöfors FF. When Rönnöfors FF's Erling Flinck in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AZAT MARD FC's goalie prevented a goal. Paul Scholes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Hultman in the 81st minute of the match. Paul Scholes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Flinck in the 83rd minute of play. Daniel Forssberg succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. After 88 minutes of play, Rönnöfors FF's Anders Holm made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Scholes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 93 played minutes AZAT MARD FC got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Ahlquist. Sven Hultman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Johannes Ahlquist charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Ahlquist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when AZAT MARD FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Ahlquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rönnöfors FF's Erling Flinck in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AZAT MARD FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Rönnöfors FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
