Güneri Kurman started the match with the kick off. Mário Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinçer İlsak having to interfere. Dinçer İlsak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Aguiar in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Güneri Kurman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Washington Moraes was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Washington Moraes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Güneri Kurman sped through OAMOREVERDE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Washington Moraes. Reinaldo Cardoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dinçer İlsak having to make a save. Pasabahce's Mustafa Yaşar İstemihan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Washington Moraes but with some difficulty. Güneri Kurman took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Washington Moraes. Washington Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Conrado Loyola put in a rough tackle. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for OAMOREVERDE! In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Pasabahce. Yakup Yücesan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Washington Moraes. 3-0. Dinçer İlsak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mário Aguiar's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After 44 played minutes Pasabahce got a freekick which was hit by Arda Göksel Süvari. In the 47th minute, Luciano Velasco had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. OAMOREVERDE's Marcinho Nunes was substituted for Luciano Velasco. After 48 played minutes Pasabahce got a freekick which was hit by Utku Ökkeş. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the game, Marcinho Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OAMOREVERDE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pasabahce the free kick. The supporters of Pasabahce booed when OAMOREVERDE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Güneri Kurman during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Pasabahce got a freekick which was hit by Güneri Kurman. Mário Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, OAMOREVERDE's goal looked a bit too open when Güneri Kurman came free, but Washington Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mário Aguiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinçer İlsak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Güneri Kurman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pasabahce's supporters rose to their feet, but Güneri Kurman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Washington Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the last second Dinçer İlsak throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mário Aguiar in the 82ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, Pasabahce's Mehmet Ferit Tuğcu got a free kick in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hudson Cabral during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, OAMOREVERDE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson Cabral to maneuver through the defense. If Güneri Kurman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pasabahce booed when OAMOREVERDE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Yakup Yücesan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Güneri Kurman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the OAMOREVERDE players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pasabahce.
