When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Benicio Balasi sped through El Kiwy Mecanico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leopoldo Nunez. Nacho Darroja charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nacho Darroja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, El Kiwy Mecanico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Darroja to maneuver through the defense. El Kiwy Mecanico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Abeitia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Leopoldo Nunez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Balasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Kiwy Mecanico's Rubén Griego managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Santo Heriberto in the 37 minute of the game. After 40 minutes, Benicio Balasi made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. El Kiwy Mecanico's Leopoldo Nunez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. CA Quake's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
