Peter Otten didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Vamo A Calmarno's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart de Boer came free, but Leonardo Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ritchie Granville fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Revenge's protests and gave Ritchie Granville a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vamo A Calmarno booed when Revenge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ritchie Granville didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Revenge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Granville to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 14 in the game by Cayetano Javiero from a close distance when the talented Folkert Roodenburg managed to make a qualified save. Revenge's players were relieved. After 16 minutes, Alwin Sterenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Revenge and the Vamo A Calmarno players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Alwin Sterenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Lehior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th play minute Cayetano Javiero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Folkert Roodenburg. 1-0. Revenge's Tonny Tonnis got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Revenge's Ritchie Granville nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Gonzalez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ritchie Granville blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Gonzalez having to make a save. A collision led to Revenge getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gertjan Bosstraeten hit a great ball. Leonardo Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ritchie Granville, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart de Boer might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Gonzalez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lennart de Boer ran back to his position shaking his head. Ritchie Granville received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Leonardo Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Banegas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd play minute Ritchie Granville came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leonardo Gonzalez. 1-2. Leonardo Gonzalez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ritchie Granville went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the match, Amadeo Lehior notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Revenge's Folkert Roodenburg. Folkert Roodenburg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vamo A Calmarno's Leonardo Gonzalez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Vamo A Calmarno from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Ritchie Granville ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Gonzalez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Ritchie Granville took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Gonzalez. Leonardo Gonzalez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. In the 84th play minute Ritchie Granville came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leonardo Gonzalez. 2-6. Ritchie Granville succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-7 in the 96th playminute. Revenge's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
