The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmelo Feliz to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Romeo Pedroso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rodrigo Sandaili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theodór Pérez in the 69th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, Club Universidad Nacional's Leonides Ofelio made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Sandaili was left in no man's land by his defense there! Florida United's Rodrigo Sandaili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aymerick Pérez in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Theodór Pérez notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Florida United's Rodrigo Sandaili. Rodrigo Sandaili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute, Lino Txartiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute of the match Arturo Santikurtz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Sandaili showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Florida United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
