Tony Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Txindoki in the 2nd minute of play. Eusebio Txindoki took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Arruda. Tony Arruda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tony Arruda came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Florida United's Ciriaco Dimas. But to his dismay, Ciriaco Dimas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Dimas in the 11th minute of play forced Westbam's goalkeeper Tony Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartosz Mochowak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Jacek Lepucki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Txartiko in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, Florida United's goalkeeper Rodrigo Sandaili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klement Pawlak. Florida United's Rodrigo Sandaili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Florida United from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Txartiko during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Lino Txartiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Ciriaco Dimas suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 45 minutes, Teofil Hryc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westbam and the Florida United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florida United made a substitution. Luis Silvanito replaced Ciriaco Dimas. Tony Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Txartiko in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Lino Txartiko made the kick off in the second half. Eusebio Txindoki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Jacinto Tximitx had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 55 minutes, Olgierd Deput mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 81st minute, Klement Pawlak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Sandaili was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Lino Txartiko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida United's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Txartiko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Westbam were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
