Loic Lane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Basile Roussel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mississauga Blue Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Basile Roussel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubinho Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th match minute, Ligeiro F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Tasso to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morris Shannon in the 18th minute of play forced Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Rubinho Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cícero Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Morris Shannon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ligeiro F.C's Rubinho Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basile Roussel in the 41st minute of play. Basile Roussel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Peixoto having to interfere. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ligeiro F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Basile Roussel was slow to take the kick. During this time Mississauga Blue Devils's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mississauga Blue Devils's Basile Roussel to fire away a dangerous shot which Rubinho Peixoto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The wind increased when Fidel Barth made the kick off in the second half. Morris Shannon struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Rubinho Peixoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mississauga Blue Devils. In the 60th minute, Morris Shannon made a precise shot to the right of Rubinho Peixoto. Ligeiro F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Rubinho Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Barth in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Barth in the 65th minute of play forced Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Rubinho Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubinho Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Barth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loic Lane made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Cícero Zonta sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the game, Fidel Barth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mississauga Blue Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ligeiro F.C the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Mississauga Blue Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Barth to maneuver through the defense. Mississauga Blue Devils's Lee Barr was substituted for Fidel Barth. In the 78th minute of the match Betinho Trancoso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loic Lane showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rubinho Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morris Shannon in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Lee Barr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
