Daniel Dropinski in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martin Rivero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 20 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Oliveiro came free, but Borys Witek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to STAL ST WOLA getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Andy Chin hit a great ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Göran Danielsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cardiff City FC's Martin Rivero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Rivero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Dropinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Göran Danielsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cardiff City FC's Martin Rivero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Bubczyk in the 29th minute of play forced Cardiff City FC's goalkeeper Martin Rivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Danielssons short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Martin Rivero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 39 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Danielsson came free, but Martin Rivero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Göran Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Rivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of STAL ST WOLA booed when Cardiff City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Efraim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Rivero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antoni Bubczyk's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Martin Rivero came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by STAL ST WOLA's Göran Danielsson. But to his dismay, Göran Danielsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Göran Danielsson made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Antoni Bubczyk made a precise shot to the right of Martin Rivero. Cardiff City FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. STAL ST WOLA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antoni Bubczyk in the 55th minute. STAL ST WOLA's Borys Witek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Ciano in the 60th minute of play. Lázaro Efraim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Borys Witek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cardiff City FC's zone, Sture Stensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Rivero came out of the goal and Sture Stensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the game, STAL ST WOLA's Göran Danielsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Rivero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Martin Rivero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göran Danielsson's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Bubczyk in the 72nd minute of play forced Cardiff City FC's goalkeeper Martin Rivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Cardiff City FC got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Efraim. Hao Feng Jie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Rivero having to interfere. Martin Rivero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Danielsson in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Danielsson came free, but Martin Rivero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Andy Chin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Rivero was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 85thth minute of the game Göran Danielsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cardiff City FC's Martin Rivero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Rivero came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by STAL ST WOLA's Göran Danielsson. But to his dismay, Göran Danielsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Andy Chin managed to get in a good position for a shot. STAL ST WOLA's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Chin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Rivero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that STAL ST WOLA were the better team. STAL ST WOLA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
