The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Fotbal Club Otelul Galati booed when Mafia Koniaka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikolaj Drzewucki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute Gigi Antohi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szymon Zecman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Fința in the 13th minute of play forced Mafia Koniaka's goalkeeper Szymon Zecman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marin Papadache came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Mafia Koniaka's Pawel Klawke. But to his dismay, Pawel Klawke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Mafia Koniaka's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Fenici came free, but Szymon Zecman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Ferdinand Fința shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szymon Zecman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Pawel Klawke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mafia Koniaka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fotbal Club Otelul Galati the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mafia Koniaka's Pawel Klawke got a free kick in the 39th minute. Marin Papadache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Wachna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Gigi Antohi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szymon Zecman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 59 minutes, Kazimierz Ziemba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mafia Koniaka and the Fotbal Club Otelul Galati players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marin Papadache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Wachna in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Waselenczuk in the 66th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's goalkeeper Marin Papadache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Szymon Wachna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Papadache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mafia Koniaka's Szymon Zecman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Zmeu in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Wachna in the 80th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's goalkeeper Marin Papadache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fotbal Club Otelul Galati were furious when Tudor Manolescu was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fotbal Club Otelul Galati fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Marin Papadache went to the wrong direction when Cezary Marchewka was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Klawke came free, but Marin Papadache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Pawel Klawke notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Marin Papadache. Marin Papadache was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marin Papadache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Wachna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fotbal Club Otelul Galati players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mafia Koniaka.
