Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adriel Patri started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AQUILES's goalkeeper Jesus Montez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulín Lapierre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jesus Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belmiro Jurado was a little too slow when Everardo Jokin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. CDU Católica's Belmiro Jurado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save CDU Católica from getting a goal against them. Jesus Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulín Lapierre in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, one of AQUILES:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AQUILES. The referee gave CDU Católica a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rodrigo Bezanilla, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AQUILES's Jesus Montez. 2-1. Jesus Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulín Lapierre, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A collision led to CDU Católica getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jose Ramon Delpiano hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Adriel Patri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesus Montez. AQUILES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriel Patri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Jesus Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zebulón Musalem, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute Paulín Lapierre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zebulón Musalem kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Everardo Jokin made the kick off in the second half. Jesus Montez came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by CDU Católica's Paulín Lapierre. But to his dismay, Paulín Lapierre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Adriel Patri might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Montez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriel Patri ran back to his position shaking his head. Jesus Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulín Lapierre, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Jokin in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belmiro Jurado saved CDU Católica from getting behind. After 77 played minutes CDU Católica got a freekick which was hit by Zebulón Musalem. In the 78th minute, Gregorio Milio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CDU Católica's Belmiro Jurado didn't even have to move. In the 79th minute, Alberto Tabby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, CDU Católica's Adriel Patri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jesus Montez. Jesus Montez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. 84 minutes into the match, CDU Católica's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Bieito came free, but Belmiro Jurado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulín Lapierre got free with Jesus Montez in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CDU Católica walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
