An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Agachi in the 8th minute of play forced Dragons EC's goalkeeper Telmo Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes, Almir Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragons EC and the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dragons EC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Almir Amorim hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Gigel Bulgar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Telmo Veloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Telmo Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Dragons EC's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Melinescu came free, but Telmo Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the game, Marcu Jușcă landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Almir Amorim hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Telmo Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Agachi, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Calistrat Potopea made a precise shot to the right of Telmo Veloso. Dragons EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Iustinian Costeiantu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Narcis Agachi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias Soeiro to make the kick off. Telmo Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aron Melinescu went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Dragons EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aron Melinescu 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. Telmo Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Potopea in the 67th minute of play. Telmo Veloso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aron Melinescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 72 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dragons EC's Rafa Soares got a free kick in the 75th minute. Telmo Veloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aron Melinescu in the 77th minute. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Calistrat Potopea got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Telmo Veloso made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Iustinian Costeiantu sent off a good shot on target. Narcis Agachi scored 0-10 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Telmo Veloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Narcis Agachi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Telmo Veloso. Telmo Veloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. 98 minutes into the match, Aron Melinescu notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Dragons EC's Telmo Veloso. Telmo Veloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
