When Luan Netto came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Meia Ronda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luan Netto couldn't finish the play. When Luan Netto fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meia Ronda's protests and gave Luan Netto a yellow card for diving instead. Luan Netto hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the game, Eduardo Oliveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edgar de Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hermínio da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Edgar de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Albuquerque was a little too slow when Nilton Soeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. Meia Ronda were furious when Leonel da Cunha was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. At last the ball reached Norberto Moreno at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Meia Ronda. 1-2. Eduardo Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Roque in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Hermínio da Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Edgar de Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Hermínio da Silva made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Luan Netto suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Melo during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Meia Ronda made a substitution. Fabrício Bezerra replaced Luan Netto. In the 54th minute, Júnior Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Roque came free, but Cristiano Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meia Ronda's Raí Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Roque in the 68th minute of play forced Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's goalkeeper Cristiano Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's Cristiano Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Bezerra in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Vítor Roque cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Edgar de Mendonça yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. If Fabrício Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hermínio da Silva hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the game, Dorival Viana landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Vítor Roque charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vítor Roque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
