Thomas Polster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG. When Jurand Latkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jurand Latkiewicz couldn't finish the play. If Roy Piater had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 16 minutes, Janusz Falkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG and the Poli Timisoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG got a freekick which was hit by Janusz Falkowski. If Andreas Unterligauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. Justin Kulovitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernard Jarosz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Igor Balonek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG and the Poli Timisoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. Igor Balonek kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Kulovitz came free, but Bernard Jarosz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Polster was a little too slow when Kazimierz Solarek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 47th minute Jurand Latkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Polster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patryk Mruk to strike the kick off in the second half. Patryk Mruk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Polster having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Grüne during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Jonas Grüne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Poli Timisoara's Jonas Grüne got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Jonas Grüne off the ground. After 55 played minutes Poli Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Grüne. 56 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Jurand Latkiewicz came free, but Thomas Polster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurand Latkiewicz took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Polster. Thomas Polster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Poli Timisoara getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Robin Pluta hit a great ball. Patryk Mruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Zacharzewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Thomas Polster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Poli Timisoara booed when Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimierz Solarek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Poli Timisoara's Andreas Unterligauer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernard Jarosz. Bernard Jarosz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Bernard Jarosz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justin Kulovitz in the 78th minute of the match. Thomas Polster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patryk Mruk, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Poli Timisoara defense, Alfred Zacharzewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Polster. The Poli Timisoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Polster should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Poli Timisoara getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Justin Kulovitz hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Jurand Latkiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Polster was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Silesia 47 Wrocław TNG's goalkeeper Bernard Jarosz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Andreas Unterligauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Unterligauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Poli Timisoara's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
