The referee ignored AJ Juventus FC's protests and gave Clemente Ribota a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the AJ Juventus FC defense, Christiano Ferraz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garcia Hoyos. The AJ Juventus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garcia Hoyos should have stopped the shot. When Maximo Caldeiro fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AJ Juventus FC's protests and gave Maximo Caldeiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AJ Juventus FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Maximo Caldeiro hit a great ball. When Bem Fraco fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romando Futebol Clube's protests and gave Bem Fraco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Romando Futebol Clube's Bem Fraco got a free kick in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Forcadas came free, but Angelo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes AJ Juventus FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Morcillo. In the 46th minute of the match Augusto Cordeiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Garcia Hoyos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Llaria to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Romando Futebol Clube's Augusto Cordeiro got a free kick in the 55th minute. Angelo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Llaria in the 57th minute of play. Sem Chance hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when AJ Juventus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Ribota didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Clemente Ribota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Romando Futebol Clube's Sem Chance dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The supporters of AJ Juventus FC booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romando Futebol Clube's Angelo Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Gerica in the 68th minute of play. Angelo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Llaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Florencio Llaria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Romando Futebol Clube's Angelo Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christobal Acevez, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 79th minute, Moisés Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romando Futebol Clube were furious when Augusto Cordeiro was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 82 played minutes Romando Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Cordeiro. Christobal Acevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Sem Chance hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Llaria's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Aquiles Morcillo was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Romando Futebol Clube's Virgílio Palmeira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Garcia Hoyos. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Romando Futebol Clube eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
