Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Hosny Amr started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Robert Bernberich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hosny Amr in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, FC Hamburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Stahlschmidt to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Hosny Amr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Bernberich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reda Refaat made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Apollo Heite sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hamburg's zone, Hosny Amr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Bernberich came out of the goal and Hosny Amr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Reda Refaat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zabu FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Stanislaus Blank scored to the left of an out of position Reda Refaat, making the score, 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Stanislaus Blank recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reda Refaat. Stanislaus Blank showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 29th minute Ludwig Wolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reda Refaat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reda Refaat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stanislaus Blank showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. Apollo Heite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Zabu FC's zone, Gernot Flemming stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reda Refaat came out of the goal and Gernot Flemming tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Apollo Heite fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Hamburg's protests and gave Apollo Heite a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes FC Hamburg got a freekick which was hit by Apollo Heite. Zabu FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Stanislaus Blank scored to the left of an out of position Reda Refaat, making the score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, FC Hamburg's Ludwig Wolf got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Hosny Amr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Bernberich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, FC Hamburg's Bülent Keil seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bülent Keil the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Hamburg protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bülent Keil had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Apollo Heite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Apollo Heite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reda Refaat was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After 62 played minutes FC Hamburg got a freekick which was hit by Ludwig Wolf. FC Hamburg's Apollo Heite got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apollo Heite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reda Refaat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Reda Refaat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernot Flemming, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Zabu FC's Hosny Amr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Bernberich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apollo Heite in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reda Refaat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 99th minute, Apollo Heite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Apollo Heite got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for FC Hamburg. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Hamburg had played much better football throughout.
