With his leg João Paulo Mota managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Buenaventura FC's Julio De Diego fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jorge Oberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Marques in the 35th minute of the match. The referee showed Nico Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Stand By got a freekick which was hit by Nico Ramos. Buenaventura FC's Andres Rios suffered a concussion in the 97th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Buenaventura FC made a substitution. Gustavo Mota replaced Andres Rios. After 99 played minutes Stand By got a freekick which was hit by Silas da Rocha. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Stand By eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
