Karel-Jan Van Eyck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Romeu Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Erwin-Alexander Beckers charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erwin-Alexander Beckers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 17 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Salles came free, but Jerom Van Dongel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruly's Jerom Van Dongel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Bruly from getting a goal against them. Jerom Van Dongel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Botelho in the 21st minute of the match. Ralf Liboton hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Bruly's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when José Pedro Botelho scored to the left of an out of position Jerom Van Dongel, making the score, 1-0. When Bruly's Joseph Neels in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Família Ressaca MZ's goalie prevented a goal. With an all-out effort, Família Ressaca MZ's Jerom Van Dongel threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from João Carlos Pirani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If João Carlos Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Bruly booed when Família Ressaca MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Puttemas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romeu Donato. Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joseph Neels kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Fábio Lopez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruly's Jerom Van Dongel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Lopez in the 51st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joseph Neels during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joseph Neels hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Romeu Donato was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joseph Neels showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 64 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bruly's zone, Luiz Fábio Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerom Van Dongel came out of the goal and Luiz Fábio Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 minutes, Karel-Jan Van Eyck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bruly and the Família Ressaca MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Karel-Jan Van Eyck got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Bruly's Jerom Van Dongel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Salles in the 73rd minute of play. Jerom Van Dongel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Lopez in the 74th minute of play. After some careless play in the Família Ressaca MZ defense, Joseph Neels kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeu Donato. The Família Ressaca MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeu Donato should have stopped the shot. Luiz Fábio Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joseph Neels in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erwin-Alexander Beckers scored 1-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeu Donato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
