Generoso Crispo was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Lucrețiu Baldovin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucrețiu Baldovin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's Lucrețiu Baldovin got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's Sandu Iacobescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Hotz in the 21st minute of play. Lucrețiu Baldovin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA defense, Silverio Etxepare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sandu Iacobescu. The CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandu Iacobescu should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute murioenmadrid were awarded a corner. Silverio Etxepare went to the cornerflag to take it. After 36 minutes CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silverio Etxepare who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Silverio Etxepare got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sandu Iacobescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 38 minutes into the match, CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Barrionuevo came free, but Sandu Iacobescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geronimo Hotz scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandu Iacobescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silverio Etxepare struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Sandu Iacobescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for murioenmadrid. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dumitru Domnescu struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Generoso Crispo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Lucrețiu Baldovin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Crispo having to interfere. Dumitru Domnescu charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dumitru Domnescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Dumitru Domnescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. David Braru hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see murioenmadrid's Silverio Etxepare in action when he in the 64th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 70th play minute Silverio Etxepare came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sandu Iacobescu. 1-3. CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Isaias Barrionuevo 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. After a rather tough play, murioenmadrid's Teobaldo Pabla got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 82 played minutes CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA got a freekick which was hit by Lucrețiu Baldovin. Generoso Crispo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Domnescu in the 86th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's Lucrețiu Baldovin made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Crispo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Silverio Etxepare got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle sounded murioenmadrid left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA.
