Chico Valadares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cornel Barbă came out and tried to block the shot, but Chico Valadares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the game, Chico Valadares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cornel Barbă. Chico Valadares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Roberto Neiva in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by RapidBarcelona's Mircea Chițu. After 13 played minutes Chico Valadares rounded RapidBarcelona's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Roberto Neiva made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by RapidBarcelona's Mircea Chițu. In the 17thth minute of the game Chico Valadares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RapidBarcelona's Cornel Barbă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Galo do Japi's Roberto Neiva quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ivan Pandele, made in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th match minute, RapidBarcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Pandele to maneuver through the defense. Vlad Vrabie hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Chico Valadares took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornel Barbă. Cornel Barbă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When Galo do Japi's Chico Valadares in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Falcão Duarte took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Cornel Barbă to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to RapidBarcelona getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Vlad Vrabie hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Chico Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Barbă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes RapidBarcelona got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Vrabie. Galo do Japi's attentive Roberto Neiva managed to snatch the ball when Ivan Pandele made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when RapidBarcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Florescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavril Dabija to make the kick off. Cornel Barbă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Chico Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, Chico Valadares notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of RapidBarcelona's Cornel Barbă. Cornel Barbă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cornel Barbă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Galo do Japi's Dagoberto Tande was substituted for Corryn Veloz. Galo do Japi's Roberto Neiva managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ivan Pandele in the 75 minute of the game. 76 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Chico Valadares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cornel Barbă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogdan Trăistaru during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Falcão Duarte was slow to take the kick. During this time Galo do Japi's players had a chance to rest. In the 84th minute, Ivan Pandele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falcão Duarte took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornel Barbă. Cornel Barbă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Chico Valadares took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornel Barbă. RapidBarcelona's Cornel Barbă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Valadares in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th match minute, RapidBarcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Pandele to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, RapidBarcelona's Bogdan Trăistaru got a free kick in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galo do Japi had played much better football throughout.
