The corner led Gl3n Grant A C's Jeremias Ordono to fire away a dangerous shot which Pastor Urtats despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Camilo Mambru's late challenge caught a Gl3n Grant A C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Mambru helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Carapa FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Camilo Mambru hit a great ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Danilo Quintyn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carapa FC's Pastor Urtats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Carapa FC's Cesar Cordeara got a free kick in the 16th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Barrionuevo during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Carapa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Barrionuevo to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Teo Gelmiro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Carapa FC's Pastor Urtats. After the first half Gl3n Grant A C were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Madeo to strike the kick off in the second half. Gl3n Grant A C's Celedonio Raymon got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 53 played minutes Carapa FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Barrionuevo. 54 minutes into the match, Carapa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Quintyn came free, but Pastor Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pastor Urtats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Quintyn in the 60th minute. The supporters of Carapa FC booed when Gl3n Grant A C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Platon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastor Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Pestana, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
