Pihl United's Hubert Berggren got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 6 minutes, Agah Ağaoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lion FC and the Pihl United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lion FC's Agah Ağaoğlu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Beckeman in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egemen Erseç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hasret Balaban during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lion FC's Hasret Balaban got a free kick in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Valentin Beckeman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egemen Erseç. Lion FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Beckeman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Lion FC's Agah Ağaoğlu got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luc Fontaine in the 17th minute of play forced Lion FC's goalkeeper Egemen Erseç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Pihl United's Valentin Beckeman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egemen Erseç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Lion FC defense, Valentin Beckeman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egemen Erseç. The Lion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egemen Erseç should have stopped the shot. Egemen Erseç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Beckeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Valentin Beckeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Valentin Beckeman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pihl United's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Beckeman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egemen Erseç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Beckeman in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egemen Erseç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 minutes of play, Pihl United's Hubert Berggren made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egemen Erseç was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valentin Beckeman might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egemen Erseç. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Beckeman ran back to his position shaking his head. Pontus Högström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egemen Erseç having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Beckeman in the 47th minute of play forced Lion FC's goalkeeper Egemen Erseç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Pihl United were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Hubert Berggren came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Pihl United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hubert Berggren couldn't finish the play. Gafur Ulukaan's late challenge caught a Pihl United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gafur Ulukaan helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Lion FC got a freekick which was hit by Gafur Ulukaan. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Luc Fontaine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pihl United's supporters rose to their feet, but Luc Fontaine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egemen Erseç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pihl United's Valentin Beckeman got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute Chico Dias suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Serbülent Tibet fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lion FC's protests and gave Serbülent Tibet a yellow card for diving instead. Serbülent Tibet hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62ndth minute of the game Valentin Beckeman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lion FC's Egemen Erseç was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Lion FC's Egemen Erseç got control of the ball when Martin Hedlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hasret Balaban kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Valentin Beckeman in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Egemen Erseç, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Valentin Beckeman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Egemen Erseç skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lion FC's zone, Pontus Högström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egemen Erseç came out of the goal and Pontus Högström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egemen Erseç was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Valentin Beckeman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentin Beckeman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Beckeman got free with Egemen Erseç in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 played minutes Lion FC got a freekick which was hit by Hasret Balaban. After a rather tough play, Lion FC's Agah Ağaoğlu got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Hubert Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pihl United's Valentin Beckeman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 97th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Pihl United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
