Gavino Dalmai was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Dalmai in the 8th minute of play forced Thornhill City's goalkeeper Savo Dobrenov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Savo Dobrenov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Dalmai, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Savo Dobrenov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Dalmai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thornhill City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Božo Vukov in the 18th minute. A well done corner resulted in Miloš Krsmanović drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper. Gavino Dalmai kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Arnaldo Tome left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pretorianos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Arnaldo Tome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Savo Dobrenov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gavino Dalmai showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 27 minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Pretorianos FC's Gavino Dalmai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Savo Dobrenov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Paolo Urko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ninoslav Mijanović in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Thornhill City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemanja Vlahović to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, Gavino Dalmai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Savo Dobrenov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ildefonso Bordat charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Bordat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miloš Krsmanović to make the kick off. Paolo Urko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemanja Vlahović in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Thornhill City were awarded a corner. Božo Vukov went to the cornerflag to take it. Ðurica Zorić was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Salvador Silban kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Gavino Dalmai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Thornhill City got a freekick which was hit by Nemanja Vlahović. Arnaldo Tome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Savo Dobrenov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thornhill City's goalkeeper Savo Dobrenov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 68th play minutes Gavino Dalmai shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Savo Dobrenov and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Thornhill City defense, Gavino Dalmai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Savo Dobrenov. The Thornhill City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Savo Dobrenov should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Gavino Dalmai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Savo Dobrenov. Thornhill City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavino Dalmai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. When Pretorianos FC's Gavino Dalmai in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thornhill City's goalie prevented a goal. Arnaldo Tome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute Arnaldo Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savo Dobrenov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Tome took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Savo Dobrenov. Savo Dobrenov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Pretorianos FC's Ildefonso Bordat got his second yellow card of the match in the 97th minute. The referee ordered Ildefonso Bordat off the ground. The supporters of Thornhill City booed when Pretorianos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Bordat didn't get a good kick on the ball.
