Vojtěch Šlajs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jedrzej Grucza made a huge save. Dominik Zídek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Puszynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zoltán Velebil charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zoltán Velebil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Skarpa Ełk's Tolek Škarpa got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute Krzysztof Biskupiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Zídek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Coufal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Jedrzej Grucza made a huge save. Wladyslaw Korytkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Škarpa in the 36th minute of play forced FC NESYT SEDLEC's goalkeeper Dominik Zídek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krzysztof Biskupiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Zídek having to interfere. Dominik Zídek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Puszynski in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Skarpa Ełk's goalkeeper Jedrzej Grucza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vojtěch Šlajs. Dominik Zídek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Puszynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tolek Škarpa in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominik Zídek saved FC NESYT SEDLEC from getting behind. In the 50th minute of the match Skarpa Ełk got a corner. FC NESYT SEDLEC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Barnaba Weyna ran over to the corner to take the kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tolek Škarpa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dominik Zídek made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Skay Škarpa sent off a good shot on target. Skarpa Ełk were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after FC NESYT SEDLEC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Barnaba Weyna took the corner. In the 59th minute Tolek Škarpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Zídek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC NESYT SEDLEC's Dominik Zídek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save FC NESYT SEDLEC from getting a goal against them. After 71 minutes of play, Skarpa Ełk's Krzysztof Biskupiak made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dominik Zídek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wladyslaw Borczak hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Krzysztof Biskupiak might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dominik Zídek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Krzysztof Biskupiak ran back to his position shaking his head. When Krzysztof Biskupiak, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 81 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dominik Zídek was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dominik Zídek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolek Škarpa's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Dominik Zídek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Škarpa in the 83rd minute of the match. When Tomáš Špinar fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC NESYT SEDLEC's protests and gave Tomáš Špinar a yellow card for diving instead. Tomáš Špinar hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC NESYT SEDLEC's Dominik Zídek got control of the ball when Tolek Škarpa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Lubomír Tlapák hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Krzysztof Biskupiak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dominik Zídek. The goal made the score 0-4. Roman Augustin took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jedrzej Grucza. Jedrzej Grucza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The Skarpa Ełk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Skarpa Ełk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
