No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cirilo Martinez was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Lappa HT's zone, Cirilo Martinez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonia Howard came out of the goal and Cirilo Martinez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. THE PAPAGUACHAS's Anacleto Balasi got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cirilo Martinez took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonia Howard. Antonia Howard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Cirilo Martinez hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes THE PAPAGUACHAS got a freekick which was hit by Lino Cebo. After 77 played minutes Lappa HT got a freekick which was hit by Randell Thomas. Caine Barry made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Herman Odd immediately put the ball in play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Martinez in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonia Howard saved Lappa HT from getting behind. After 90 minutes, Victor Benat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the THE PAPAGUACHAS and the Lappa HT players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victor Benat kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the game, THE PAPAGUACHAS's Cirilo Martinez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonia Howard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The THE PAPAGUACHAS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lappa HT had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
