An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Tande in the 19th minute of play forced Abandonados FC's goalkeeper Julio Clarabout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diamantino Tande scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Clarabout, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Maximo Holguin in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by POPULAR F.C's Humberto Linhares. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diamantino Tande in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Clarabout saved Abandonados FC from getting behind. POPULAR F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
