The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Esteban Domeka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Ciscato in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Torpedos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Ciscato came free, but Esteban Domeka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio La Penna in the 9th minute of play forced Torpedos AFC's goalkeeper Esteban Domeka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvise Ciscato in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteban Domeka saved Torpedos AFC from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Torpedos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio La Penna came free, but Esteban Domeka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Alejo Lauaxeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban Domeka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvise Ciscato's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 33rd play minutes Alvise Ciscato shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Esteban Domeka and just under the crossbar into goal. After 40 minutes, Alvise Ciscato made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Torpedos AFC's Esteban Domeka tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvise Ciscato in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Domeka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 46 minutes into the match, Alvaro Scarcella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Domeka. Torpedos AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Scarcella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carolo Regis to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Attilio La Penna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Supremacy Catania FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio La Penna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Domeka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, Alejo Lauaxeta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 54 minutes, Eugenio Orioli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Supremacy Catania FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Orioli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteban Domeka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvise Ciscato in the 58th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteve Sergi during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Esteve Sergi kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Esteban Domeka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio La Penna, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Supremacy Catania FC booed when Torpedos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Torpedos AFC's zone, Alvaro Scarcella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Domeka came out of the goal and Alvaro Scarcella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Torpedos AFC's Esteban Domeka got control of the ball when Alvise Ciscato tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esteban Domeka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Attilio La Penna went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Eugenio Orioli took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteban Domeka. Esteban Domeka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 77th minute, Alvise Ciscato made a precise shot to the right of Esteban Domeka. Torpedos AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. After a defensive mix-up in Torpedos AFC's zone, Alvise Ciscato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Domeka came out of the goal and Alvise Ciscato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Torpedos AFC's Esteban Domeka got control of the ball when Alvise Ciscato tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1-8 became the score in the 86th minute when Alvise Ciscato elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Torpedos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio La Penna came free, but Esteban Domeka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Torpedos AFC defense, Alvise Ciscato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Domeka. The Torpedos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Domeka should have stopped the shot. When Ciccio Catena fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Supremacy Catania FC's protests and gave Ciccio Catena a yellow card for diving instead. The Torpedos AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Supremacy Catania FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
