Cagayan Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Magadap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Gotzon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee gave F.C. Cagayan Academy a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Desiderio Magadap, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ToRoS FiRe F.C.'s Silvano Gotzon. 0-1. After 15 minutes, Teobaldo Lluis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ToRoS FiRe F.C. and the F.C. Cagayan Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrosio Yase was the one to do the kick off. Silvano Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Yase in the 52nd minute of play. Constantino Christobal hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Silvano Gotzon made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Parapusle Tiongson sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute Marcial Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isko Buyco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edarlito Santiago during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edarlito Santiago hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ToRoS FiRe F.C.'s Hipolito Dacio got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 71st minute, Marcial Paz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Parapusle Tiongson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Silvano Gotzon made a huge save. F.C. Cagayan Academy's Isko Buyco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Lluis in the 81st minute of play. Isko Buyco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Paz in the 86th minute of the match. Constantino Christobal hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The ToRoS FiRe F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching F.C. Cagayan Academy's performance. The match ended with a win for F.C. Cagayan Academy.
