When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Augustin Pantilimon sped through Viejo Lobo De Mar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnulfo Jokin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Pantilimon in the 16th minute of play forced Viejo Lobo De Mar's goalkeeper Arnulfo Jokin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augustin Pantilimons short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Arnulfo Jokin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustin Pantilimon got free with Arnulfo Jokin in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Viejo Lobo De Mar defense, Cristinel Vâtcu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Jokin. The Viejo Lobo De Mar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Jokin should have stopped the shot. Arnulfo Jokin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandru Robescu went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 29th match minute, Arsenal Giulesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Zdraşcu to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Cristinel Vâtcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Augustin Pantilimon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnulfo Jokin, 4-0. Fabio Caetano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Joldea having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Arnulfo Jokin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 46thth minute of the game Augustin Pantilimon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viejo Lobo De Mar's Arnulfo Jokin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Fabio Caetano made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Arsenal Giulesti got a freekick which was hit by Ion Silvestru. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Jokin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristinel Vâtcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 played minutes, Arsenal Giulesti's Horaţiu Munteanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnulfo Jokin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arsenal Giulesti reached it. In the 84th minute Cristinel Vâtcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Jokin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Jokin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Pantilimon in the 85th minute of play.
