In the 25th minute of the match, Mauro Oinaz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tercero Arriete saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Guaberto Cordaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Cordaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tercero Arriete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tercero Arriete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Gabrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Haroldo Quinton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tercero Arriete was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerico Viaña to make the kick off. Mauro Oinaz kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Jerico Viaña scored 9-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Siro Sergi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tercero Arriete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Oinaz went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. Mauro Oinaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tercero Arriete having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Real Medellín's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Cordaro came free, but Tercero Arriete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Haroldo Quinton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tercero Arriete. Real Medellín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Quinton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-1. 12-1 became the score in the 67th minute when Mauro Oinaz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tercero Arriete came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's Mauro Oinaz. But to his dismay, Mauro Oinaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-1. In the 74th minute Mauro Oinaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tercero Arriete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eulalio Gabrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tercero Arriete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Clemente Alvarez made a precise shot to the right of Tercero Arriete. Real Medellín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Oinaz in the 81st minute of play forced Real Medellín's goalkeeper Tercero Arriete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Real Medellín's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Cordaro came free, but Tercero Arriete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
