Nelsinho Hoffmann hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in PORTUGUESA-RJ's zone, Zula Tepper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fábio Bittencourt came out of the goal and Zula Tepper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wólka SA's Bogdan Antoszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro de Queirós in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Tobaczewski in the 12th minute of play forced PORTUGUESA-RJ's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Kasprzak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogdan Antoszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro de Queirós in the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Wólka SA booed when PORTUGUESA-RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th match minute, Wólka SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Barycz to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes PORTUGUESA-RJ got a freekick which was hit by Sandro de Queirós. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind PORTUGUESA-RJ's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Bittencourt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Fábio Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zula Tepper in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zula Tepper in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fábio Bittencourt saved PORTUGUESA-RJ from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in PORTUGUESA-RJ's zone, Zula Tepper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fábio Bittencourt came out of the goal and Zula Tepper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, PORTUGUESA-RJ's Luís Fábio Bittencourt got control of the ball when Zula Tepper tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zula Tepper in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fábio Bittencourt saved PORTUGUESA-RJ from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Tobaczewski in the 41st minute of play forced PORTUGUESA-RJ's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zula Tepper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. PORTUGUESA-RJ's Luís Fábio Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Tobaczewski in the 45th minute of play. If Sandro de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The audience was convinced that Zula Tepper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fábio Bittencourt was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. If Zula Tepper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute Zula Tepper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fábio Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Artur Jazowski with Gilbert Sakowicz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in PORTUGUESA-RJ's zone, Gilbert Sakowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fábio Bittencourt came out of the goal and Gilbert Sakowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PORTUGUESA-RJ's Luís Fábio Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zula Tepper in the 68th minute of play. Luís Fábio Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Wólka SA's Zula Tepper. But to his dismay, Zula Tepper quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sandro de Queirós who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Bogdan Antoszewski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luís Fábio Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zula Tepper in the 81st minute of play. After 82 minutes, Radomil Barycz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wólka SA and the PORTUGUESA-RJ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Wólka SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Barycz to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, PORTUGUESA-RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Tepper came free, but Luís Fábio Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Tobaczewski struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Luís Fábio Bittencourt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wólka SA. If Artur Jazowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zula Tepper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sebastian Tobaczewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wólka SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Tobaczewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fábio Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chants of PORTUGUESA-RJ echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Wólka SA had held the ball for most of the match.
