The referee ignored Olympia 04's protests and gave Denny Koerts a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Olympia 04 got a freekick which was hit by Denny Koerts. Ruben Gaufred kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Ulises Madaleno was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 40th minute, Ulises Madaleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Pere in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filip Hellemons, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Filip Hellemons made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregorio Pere in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Elias Manuelo made a precise shot to the right of Filip Hellemons. Olympia 04's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Filip Hellemons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Pere in the 61st minute of the match. Denny Koerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Filiberto Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Olympia 04 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Denny Koerts hit a great ball. Herman Wansink scored 1-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filiberto Johans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Herman Wansink notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sentimiento Auriazul's Filiberto Johans. Filiberto Johans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute Herman Wansink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Johans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Hellemons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Pere in the 79th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Gregorio Pere put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Filip Hellemons. Filip Hellemons stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio Pere's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. The Sentimiento Auriazul fans cheered their team off the field, for while Olympia 04 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
