After a rather tough play, Stellenbosch's Cayetano Emenon got a free kick in the 15th minute. Marco Mandrak, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 20th minute, Luisão Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Fidele. Stellenbosch's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 24 played minutes, DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ's Marco Mandrak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fausto Fidele came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ reached it. Gonzalo Urti charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzalo Urti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gonzalo Urti hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Isidoro Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Humberto de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Fidele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Ofelio in the 37th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Stellenbosch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Emenon to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes, DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ's Marco Mandrak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fausto Fidele came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ reached it. The Stellenbosch players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florentino Ferrer to strike the kick off in the second half. Ovidio Vitin scored 1-3 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Maranhense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Humberto de Sena could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Fausto Fidele however easily saved by the left post. In the 57th minute Marco Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Fidele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Ovidio Vitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Natã Paulista from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Fausto Fidele's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luisão Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Fausto Fidele made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Ovidio Vitin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuno Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Vitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Luisão Rocha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nuno Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Vitin in the 78th minute of play. Fausto Fidele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Adalberto Carvalho hit a great ball. In the 90th match minute, DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Maranhense came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Stellenbosch's Ovidio Vitin. But to his dismay, Ovidio Vitin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3.
