An unexpectedly hard shot by 曹瑜国 in the 15th minute of play forced 天津蓟县三刺鱼队's goalkeeper 沈林风 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 沈林风 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 曹瑜国, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, 陈铮威 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When 石晨斐 fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Bull FC's protests and gave 石晨斐 a yellow card for diving instead. If 曹瑜国 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind 天津蓟县三刺鱼队's goalkeeper 沈林风, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that 梅坤昂's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 顾辉皓 was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 40 minutes into the game, 马骋鹰 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 天津蓟县三刺鱼队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Bull FC the free kick. 马骋鹰 hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 陆桑弘's late challenge caught a Red Bull FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The supporters of Red Bull FC booed when 天津蓟县三刺鱼队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. 陆桑弘 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 曹瑜国 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 梅坤昂 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 何南奕 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute of the game, 江默岩 landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Red Bull FC's 齐珂杰 was substituted for 江默岩. A collision led to 天津蓟县三刺鱼队 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. 庞谦威 hit a great ball. 蒋洋然 kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, 天津蓟县三刺鱼队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 苏松桦 to maneuver through the defense. 陆桑弘 got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 陆桑弘 hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, 曹瑜国 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Bull FC's supporters rose to their feet, but 曹瑜国 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 沈林风 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, 天津蓟县三刺鱼队's 庞谦威 got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 曹瑜国 kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 曹瑜国 might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 沈林风. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 曹瑜国 ran back to his position shaking his head. 沈林风 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 曹瑜国, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 曹瑜国 struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. 沈林风 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Red Bull FC's 沈林风 threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 何南奕, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When 曹瑜国 came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Red Bull FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 曹瑜国 couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Red Bull FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. 曹瑜国 hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the game, 陈铮威 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 天津蓟县三刺鱼队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Bull FC the free kick. The supporters of Red Bull FC booed when 天津蓟县三刺鱼队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. 陈铮威 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 沈林风 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曹瑜国 in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Red Bull FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 石晨斐 to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute of the match 蒋洋然 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 顾辉皓 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match was over Red Bull FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 天津蓟县三刺鱼队 throughout the match.
