The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Rocio got free with Cristian Crăciunaș in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Cristian Crăciunaș got control of the ball when Marcelino Rocio tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Vasile Pacuraru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Marcelino Rocio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Crăciunaș. Fotbal Club Vaslui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelino Rocio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 24th minute, Marco Astrada reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristian Crăciunaș. The goal made the score 3-0. 28 minutes into the game, Vasile Pacuraru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Marcial Dantel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute Vasile Pacuraru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Dantel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Marco Astrada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristian Crăciunaș. Marco Astrada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Cristian Crăciunaș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Astrada in the 39th minute of the match. Cristian Crăciunaș made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Marcelino Rocio sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute Marco Astrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Crăciunaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Marco Astrada sped through Fotbal Club Vaslui's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristian Crăciunaș. In the 55th minute, Marco Astrada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Crăciunaș was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 58th minute Marco Astrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Crăciunaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horea Grigorie kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Vasile Pacuraru came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcial Dantel could save by the left post. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Cristian Crăciunaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Astrada in the 67th minute of play. Cristian Crăciunaș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Rocio in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when EL COCO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Astrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelino Rocio in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Crăciunaș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Hechter during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when EL COCO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Hechter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Calistrat Tomozei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Matei Pescaru got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Modesto Baleren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Crăciunaș showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. EL COCO fully deserved thier win.
