The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severo Onofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 8 minutes, Severo Onofre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Onofre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Gogo Lascano threw the ball into play from the sideline. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Sérgio Goycochea quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Justino Llana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Onofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes C&H 1964 got a freekick which was hit by Cortez Lertora. In the 28th match minute, C&H 1964 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cortez Lertora to maneuver through the defense. Gogo Lascano made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Sérgio Goycochea. Severo Onofre scored 1-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justino Llana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Severo Onofre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Justino Llana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Onofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Llana having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Ubaldo Teodor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ and the C&H 1964 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Severo Onofre made a precise shot to the right of Justino Llana. C&H 1964's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.

The wind increased when Miro Malave made the kick off in the second half. Justino Llana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Onofre's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Ubaldo Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Llana having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Severo Onofre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 83 played minutes C&H 1964 got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Lascano. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Gaudencio Oskitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ from getting a goal against them. After 92 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Benino. In the 96th minute Severo Onofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Llana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Socorro Oropesa charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Socorro Oropesa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, C&H 1964 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Socorro Oropesa to maneuver through the defense. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
