An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Arnau in the 9th minute of play forced SuperChango's goalkeeper Silvio Semeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Rioja's late challenge caught a ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Rioja helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SuperChango's Florencio Rioja got a free kick in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Isidoro Piearres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Modesto Weterio. Isidoro Piearres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Piearres got free with Modesto Weterio in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Enaut came free, but Silvio Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Isidoro Piearres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Modesto Weterio. The goal made the score 2-0. A collision led to SuperChango getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Isidoro Piearres hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's zone, Isidoro Piearres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Weterio came out of the goal and Isidoro Piearres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Montrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Silvio Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celestino Urbez made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Rosendo Enaut took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Silvio Semeno to make any attempt to save it. ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Modesto Weterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Urbez in the 68th minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Celestino Urbez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Modesto Weterio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Mauricio Gartzea in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SuperChango's Froilan Clementi. Silvio Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Enaut in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ booed when SuperChango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Rioja didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Piearres came free, but Modesto Weterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Montrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Semeno having to interfere.
