An unexpectedly hard shot by Sherwood Uribe in the 13th minute of play forced Operário Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Wilton Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Sherwood Uribe could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Wilton Severo however easily saved by the left post. After 77 played minutes Operário Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Doni Hermes. After 79 played minutes Operário Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Elói Cruz. The referee felt a red card was in order, 80 minutes into the game, when Tomás Zonta put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Operário Futebol Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Evangel FC:s goal. Enrique Weathers shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 85th minute Joe Jamison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Operário Futebol Clube's Wilton Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Jamison in the 87th minute of play. Wilton Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brett Uribe in the 94th minute of play. The Operário Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Evangel FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
