Atlético Bucaramanga's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alan Trancoso 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 16th minute, Silban Bonifaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvério Netto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A well placed Davi Mineiro short distance shot in the 18th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Weterio Caceo in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvério Netto saved Dínamo São Paulo from getting behind. A collision led to Dínamo São Paulo getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jorge Schmidt hit a great ball. Silvério Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Weterio Caceo in the 26th minute of play. Toninho Leite hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vágner Cunha got free with Hitz Urdiales in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Atlético Bucaramanga's Hitz Urdiales got control of the ball when Vágner Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atlético Bucaramanga made a substitution. Perico Luengo replaced Gai Area. In the 100th minute, Alan Trancoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dínamo São Paulo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. The Dínamo São Paulo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
