Tuto Moya showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. With an all-out effort, CS La Libertad's Marcel Mota threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oldemar Masis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Os 11 garotos's Edílson de Souza got a free kick in the 20th minute. The supporters of CS La Libertad booed when Os 11 garotos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Mota made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Elias Carballo sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Os 11 garotos defense, Elias Carballo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Mota. The Os 11 garotos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Mota should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Carballo to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Elias Carballo put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcel Mota. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lyubcho Mangalski in the 93rd minute of play forced Os 11 garotos's goalkeeper Marcel Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CS La Libertad walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
