The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Llanos Vinegra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Llanos Vinegra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiago Larrechi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Enrique Paublo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Green Bay Packers's goal looked a bit too open when Llanos Vinegra came free, but Enrique Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atlético Municipal's Bastiaro Fresco got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th match minute, Green Bay Packers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Igor Grabiel's late challenge caught a Atlético Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Grabiel helped the player get up and apologised. Igor Grabiel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Tiago Larrechi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Enrique Paublo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Llanos Vinegra might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Paublo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Llanos Vinegra ran back to his position shaking his head. Nacho Atienza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Green Bay Packers's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Larrechi came free, but Enrique Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Paublo came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Municipal's Nacho Atienza. But to his dismay, Nacho Atienza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Llanos Vinegra might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Paublo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Llanos Vinegra ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sazon Juaristi during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atlético Municipal's Sazon Juaristi got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Green Bay Packers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Municipal were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nacho Atienza to strike the kick off in the second half. Llanos Vinegra took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Paublo. Enrique Paublo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Enrique Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Larrechi in the 57th minute of the match. Llope Alva took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Paublo. Enrique Paublo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Enrique Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Llanos Vinegra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético Municipal were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Green Bay Packers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valiente Rivera took the corner. Nacho Atienza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Llanos Vinegra struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Enrique Paublo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Municipal. When Cleto Toro fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Bay Packers's protests and gave Cleto Toro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Cleto Toro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Llanos Vinegra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 80th minute of the match Cleto Toro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cleto Toro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Green Bay Packers getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Cleto Toro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacho Atienza in the 82nd minute of play forced Green Bay Packers's goalkeeper Enrique Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nacho Atienza got free with Enrique Paublo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the game, Atlético Municipal's Tiago Larrechi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Paublo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. If Tiago Larrechi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Larrechi, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Enrique Paublo made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Nacho Atienza sent off a good shot on target. When Kinsen Calzado fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Municipal's protests and gave Kinsen Calzado a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Atlético Municipal getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Kinsen Calzado hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Atlético Municipal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Green Bay Packers.
