Vito Valle scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mikael Kjellbom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cacá Arce hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Petter Beckman came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Tånys Talenter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petter Beckman couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute Vito Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Kjellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito Valle in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikael Kjellbom saved Tånys Talenter from getting behind. Harry Houdini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Petter Beckman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tånys Talenter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Valle in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikael Kjellbom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute Vito Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Kjellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Wennersten was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ludvig Skoglund made a kick off. Tånys Talenter's Mikael Kjellbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Tånys Talenter from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Valle in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikael Kjellbom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the match, Tånys Talenter's goalkeeper Mikael Kjellbom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cacá Arce. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Houdini in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Pirani saved Xerife FC from getting behind. Vito Valle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Mikael Kjellbom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Harry Houdini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breno Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mikael Kjellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Xerife FC got a freekick which was hit by João Terry. After a rather tough play, Tånys Talenter's Sonny Ferm got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Sten Malmström hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Mikael Kjellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Emanuel Simões struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Mikael Kjellbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xerife FC. Xerife FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
