A collision led to Tigre Brasilis F.C. getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Pedro Gomes hit a great ball. When São Petersburgo FC's Eugênio Meirelles in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s Pedro Gomes got a free kick in the 4th minute. São Petersburgo FC's Eugênio Meirelles got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as São Petersburgo FC's Agostinho Vaz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gil Moreira. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. After 12 played minutes São Petersburgo FC got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Alagoano. After 14 played minutes Tigre Brasilis F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Sousa. Eugênio Meirelles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Gil Moreira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 17th match minute, São Petersburgo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes Tigre Brasilis F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Abreu. 30 minutes into the game, Samuel de Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Petersburgo FC the free kick. Samuel de Queiroz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Christian das Neves fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s protests and gave Christian das Neves a yellow card for diving instead. Eugênio Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Moreira having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugênio Meirelles to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Mangueira came free, but Gil Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s Deivid Abreu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Erasmo de Azevedo was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Deivid Abreu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Deivid Abreu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After 77 played minutes Zé Romero rounded São Petersburgo FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Pedro Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Zé Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Deivid Abreu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erasmo de Azevedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Deivid Abreu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 88th minute. Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
