The supporters of The Cavern Club booed when S.C Jardim Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Severo Hunfredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matías Damião. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. The supporters of The Cavern Club booed when S.C Jardim Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matías Damião was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Anselmo Arnas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anselmo Arnas really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When Túlio Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C Jardim Brasil's protests and gave Túlio Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. Túlio Tavares hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, S.C Jardim Brasil's Anselmo Freire got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Matías Damião was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfredo Gosch showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. The wind increased when Diguinho Leal made the kick off in the second half. José Maria Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wesley Silveira's late challenge caught a The Cavern Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wesley Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, S.C Jardim Brasil's Wesley Silveira got a free kick in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Severo Hunfredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matías Damião. S.C Jardim Brasil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severo Hunfredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Severo Hunfredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Damião having to interfere. Josué Novaes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Matías Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Arnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matías Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Hunfredo in the 71st minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Severo Hunfredo made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. S.C Jardim Brasil's Matías Damião tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the S.C Jardim Brasil defense, Anselmo Arnas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matías Damião. The S.C Jardim Brasil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matías Damião should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, S.C Jardim Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Hunfredo came free, but Matías Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Arnas in the 93rd minute of play forced S.C Jardim Brasil's goalkeeper Matías Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diguinho Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Cavern Club fully deserved thier win.
