In the 21stth minute of the game Kálmán Hegedűs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Independiente's Moisés Gil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Felix Toledano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of György Pintér, 2-1. In the 28th minute, Kálmán Hegedűs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AS Mohács fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Attila Szász had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. Independiente's Moisés Gil got control of the ball when Kálmán Hegedűs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luis Valdez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without György Pintér having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, AS Mohács's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Navarro came free, but György Pintér reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Navarro struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. György Pintér didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Independiente. Kálmán Hegedűs had several of the C.A. Independiente's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-6 score and a disappointed Moisés Gil as he didn't even see the shot coming. György Pintér showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Toledano in the 94th minute of the match. Matias Ríos hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. The AS Mohács fans' excitement grew in the 100th match minute when AS Mohács's Kálmán Hegedűs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The AS Mohács supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AS Mohács would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
