Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Ferit Port fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vorwärts Lübeck's protests and gave Ferit Port a yellow card for diving instead. Ferit Port hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Emanuel Nittel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vorwärts Lübeck fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Daniel Jönsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Jarstein was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Daniel Ahlin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ronny Jarstein came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's Rickard Duset. But to his dismay, Rickard Duset quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ronny Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Jönsson in the 38th minute of play. Vorwärts Lübeck's Ronny Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Duset in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's Daniel Ahlin got control of the ball when Emanuel Nittel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Alfred Boymanns got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th match minute, Vorwärts Lübeck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernhard Stammler to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ronny Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conny Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute.
