The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yohann Debove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Van Clijnebreugel, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 8 played minutes Paris got a freekick which was hit by Steve Dupond. In the 9th minute, Lieven Huybrechts reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yohann Debove. The goal made the score 2-0. 12 minutes into the match, Paris's goalkeeper Yohann Debove had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lex Van Eycke. Paris were furious when Lamine Beau was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Lamine Beau hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Frederick Van Gorp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prosper Vey, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Paris booed when Fauna Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wout Rosbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Pierre-Loup Melchior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Van Gorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Paris's Erwin Moyne got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Lex Van Eycke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yohann Debove. Paris's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yohann Debove came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Fauna Utd's Lex Van Eycke. But to his dismay, Lex Van Eycke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Yohann Debove came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Fauna Utd's Abel Van Clijnebreugel. But to his dismay, Abel Van Clijnebreugel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. With a little luck, Paris's Yohann Debove got control of the ball when Lieven Huybrechts tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute, Fauna Utd's Abel Van Clijnebreugel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. If Willem-Jan Paelemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Lex Van Eycke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yohann Debove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yohann Debove came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fauna Utd's Lex Van Eycke. But to his dismay, Lex Van Eycke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Ronan Brouillet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Abel Van Clijnebreugel scored 7-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yohann Debove, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ive Beckers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Yohann Debove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Fauna Utd getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Lex Van Eycke hit a great ball. Lieven Huybrechts took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yohann Debove. Yohann Debove dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. After a rather tough play, Fauna Utd's Lex Van Eycke got a free kick in the 71st minute. Prosper Vey's late challenge caught a Fauna Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prosper Vey helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Paris getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Prosper Vey hit a great ball. Jérôme Rabu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Yohann Debove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Van Clijnebreugel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yohann Debove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lex Van Eycke in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurent Camus in the 81st minute of play forced Paris's goalkeeper Yohann Debove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yohann Debove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ive Beckers in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Abel Van Clijnebreugel notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Paris's Yohann Debove. Yohann Debove was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Fauna Utd players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
