Bezerros EC's Adilson Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Jesus Jardel in the 3rd minute of play. Xentrias were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Bezerros EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Lundin took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Joar Björk heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Mario Jesus Jardel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xentrias's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Jesus Jardel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adilson Ceresso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Xentrias booed when Bezerros EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Mario Jesus Jardel made a precise shot to the right of Adilson Ceresso. Bezerros EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A well-hit corner resulted in Jimmy Asserlindh heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 27th minute, Mario Jesus Jardel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adilson Ceresso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Mario Jesus Jardel took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adilson Ceresso. Adilson Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Adilson Ceresso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Xentrias's Mario Jesus Jardel shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute. Mario Jesus Jardel took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adilson Ceresso. Adilson Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Percy de Azevedo to make the kick off. Adilson Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Jesus Jardel in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Jesus Jardel in the 53rd minute of play forced Bezerros EC's goalkeeper Adilson Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mario Jesus Jardel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adilson Ceresso made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Mario Jesus Jardel sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd play minute Mario Jesus Jardel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adilson Ceresso. 0-10. After 65 played minutes Xentrias got a freekick which was hit by Thor Stabbe. The Xentrias fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Xentrias's Mario Jesus Jardel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 73 minutes into the match, Bezerros EC's goalkeeper Adilson Ceresso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Jesus Jardel. After 78 played minutes Xentrias got a freekick which was hit by John Cena. After a defensive mix-up in Bezerros EC's zone, Mario Jesus Jardel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adilson Ceresso came out of the goal and Mario Jesus Jardel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 played minutes Dan Lund could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-13 into the left cross. Mario Jesus Jardel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adilson Ceresso came out and tried to block the shot, but Mario Jesus Jardel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-14 in the 93rd minute.
