Romania's Felix Murgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Kemal Yesari in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Dorin Şerbănoiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, KaBuS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Kemal Yesari to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th match minute, KaBuS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilal Eracar to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Dorin Şerbănoiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hüseyin Karataş. That made the score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. In the 35th minute Mustafa Kemal Yesari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Murgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Nadir İspinoz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Romania's Felix Murgan. Felix Murgan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dorin Şerbănoiu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Hüseyin Karataş when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 43 played minutes Romania got a freekick which was hit by Călin Mirea. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nadir İspinoz to strike the kick off in the second half. Romania's Dorin Şerbănoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Murgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nadir İspinoz in the 53rd minute of play. Dorin Şerbănoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Romania's Codruț Trifănucă got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Emrullah Kadıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Murgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Dorin Şerbănoiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hüseyin Karataş. KaBuS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorin Şerbănoiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 65th minute Gheorghe Odobescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Karataş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüseyin Karataş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorin Şerbănoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Silviu Râznicu kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes KaBuS FC got a freekick which was hit by Onurhan Okuyan. Hüseyin Karataş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Şerbănoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hüseyin Karataş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Odobescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bilal Eracar during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silviu Râznicu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in KaBuS FC's zone, Gheorghe Odobescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüseyin Karataş came out of the goal and Gheorghe Odobescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Onurhan Okuyan hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KaBuS FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
