The supporters of Tiburones Rojos booed when La Escaloneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Izotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Tiburones Rojos's Teodosio Lain made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artemio Montrell was left in no man's land by his defense there! The La Escaloneta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 37th match minute, La Escaloneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Senio to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodosio Lain made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Andres Erdiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
