After a rather tough play, Club Deportes La Serena's Mark Diaz de León got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Allen Salinas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BUITRES II fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Prudentio Telaeche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allen Salinas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albin Pumaraboli ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, BUITRES II's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Pumaraboli came free, but Chase Palacios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Rogerio Recalde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportes La Serena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Allen Salinas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of BUITRES II booed when Club Deportes La Serena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogerio Recalde didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Allen Salinas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudentio Telaeche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Chase Palacios successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, BUITRES II's Dwight Kaplan got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Albin Pumaraboli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prudentio Telaeche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allen Salinas in the 89th minute of play. Xabel Doursther hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Allen Salinas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prudentio Telaeche was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Deportes La Serena players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BUITRES II.
